Through his Facebook page, Mosiria narrated how the distraught woman, Mary Koki Kioko, painfully poured out her story, describing herself as “a depressed soul giving up.”

“Hello, sir, my name is Mary Koki Kioko, a single mum of three, a depressed soul giving up.
“Kindly, this is my story. I hope it finds you well. I am giving up already, and I want the world to know it before I give up. I tried,” the mother of three narrated, as shared by Mosiria.

Mary told Mosiria that her daughter had been admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital after spending three months in the ICU.
“I have a daughter at Kenyatta Hospital. Amekaa ICU for three months. Sasa ako kwa ward,” she said.
She explained that her troubles began after the death of her mother, with her elderly father abandoning the family.

She recounted how hardship forced her to move to Nairobi in search of survival, leaving her two older children in the care of relatives while she carried her breastfeeding baby to the city.
“My cousin offered to host me but under one rule: nibebe mtoto mmoja mwenye ananyonya, niache hawa wakubwa,” she narrated.
Mary explains her hardships
According to Mary, she survived on menial jobs, washing clothes to send money home, unaware that her children were allegedly being abused.
“I did not know walikuwa wanatesa watoto wangu,” she said, adding that a call later informed her that one child was critically ill.
Doctors later confirmed severe brain damage after the child was allegedly assaulted.
“The brain was already damaged… up to date mtoto wangu hajawai amka,” she narrated, adding that the child now cannot see, walk or sit and will never live a normal life.

Mary further revealed that despite reporting the matter to the police, suspects were released on bond. She was later kicked out by her host and forced to sleep in a church.
Now homeless and stranded in town, Mary says her sick child, Baby Precious, lies alone in the hospital ward as she struggles with nowhere to go.
“Sina nyumba, sina chochote… Baby Precious is alone in the ward,” she cried.
Mosiria concluded by appealing for help, urging well-wishers to assist Mary with hospital bills and rent so she can care for her ailing child.
