Social media personality Andrew Kibe has given his take on Dennis Itumbi’s recent meeting with boda boda riders, in which the Head of Presidential Special Projects & Creative Economy praised their interaction.

Kibe dismissed Itumbi’s statement and camaraderie with the riders in a statement on his X account on Thursday, January 29, 2026, noting that it was staged.

According to Kibe, real feedback cannot be obtained when a political operative invites people to his home, with the expectation that gifts would be provided to the participants.

“This is not organic,” Kibe stated and challenged Itumbi to go to the ground to obtain real feedback as opposed to hosting delegations at his home, as the latter only sees people telling him what he would like to hear.

Enda kwa ground. When you invite people to your house, and they are expecting goodies, hakuna ukweli watakuambia. They will kiss your ass and agree with everything you say because they know kuna ka bahasha at the end of the meeting,” Kibe wrote on X on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
