Social media personality and podcaster Lillian Nganga has opened up about romantic relationships and the lessons she has learned over the years, offering rare insight into her personal love life.

Speaking during a candid conversation with media personality Alex Mwakideu on Saturday, June 6, 2026, Lillian addressed how people labelled her after she ended a previous relationship with the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection, Alfred Mutua, and moved on to veteran musician Juliani, saying she was often misunderstood by the public.

She further clarified that she has only been with two men from her mid-20s to her 40s.

“When I left my relationship and then got with J, people used to call me the ‘M’ word, and I asked, What are you talking about? I have been with two men from 25 to 40,” Lillian said.

The mother of one also pointed out that her past relationship with Alfred Mutua was long, noting that her choices when it comes to relationships shaped her perspective on love and helped her avoid unnecessary complications in life.

“Alfred was so long, and then now J. I have lived a very good life and probably it has saved me from a lot of troubles and situations,” she added.

“I have never been to any man’s house; I broke that rule once. If you want to date somebody, ukweli ukweli, go for lunch where you don’t feel you have to pay back,” Lillian stated.

She advised that only after building trust should couples start visiting each other’s homes, warning against rushing into intimacy or complex arrangements early in relationships.

“You are getting to know each other. Don’t rush. Later on, at that level, you can go to their house and they can come to your house , but Airbnb is a no,” she said.
