It is often said that whoever finds a wife finds a good thing and receives favour from God, and for Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi, that saying seems to ring true.

In a Facebook post shared on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Murang’a Woman Representative Betty Maina praised Wamumbi in a warm and emotional message.

She shared that even when people online or offline turn against them, she barely cares, as long as Eric is by her side and on her side.

“We don’t mind so much, even when the world is against us and social media is against us, I barely care as long as you are by my side and on my side. We struggle together. Dream together. Laugh together,” Betty Maina wrote on Facebook.

Betty added that their bond is built on simple, strong moments. They struggle together, dream together and laugh together, a soft reminder that love grows best in everyday things.
