‘We miss his drama’ – Nyako says as she visits Brian Chira’s grave in Githunguri
By Steve Ireri, December 4, 2025Germany-based Kenyan TikToker Nyako has paid a visit to the grave of late TikToker Brian Chira and spoke sweet words over his soul.
In a TikTok livestream on Thursday, December 4, 2025, Nyako, who was in the company of Chira’s grandmother, Esther Njeri, is seen touring the grave and its surroundings, noting that the place he had been buried was private, serene, and peaceful.

The self-proclaimed TikTok president added that the grave, which lies under a tree on the family’s ancestral land in Gitei village, is surrounded by cool air, natural shade, and birdsong.
“Here is Chira’s soul resting in peace. He was buried under a tree, so it’s very peaceful. I also love that this place in Githunguri where he was buried is very private,” she said.

Nyako said she and many others still miss Chira’s signature dramatic energy, describing him as someone who brought a unique vibe to Kenyan TikTok culture.
She acknowledged that although Chira frequently shaded people online, including herself, she never responded to his insults and instead came to appreciate his bold personality and the life he brought to the platform.
“We miss Brian, even though he had normalised shading people. He is actually the only person who ever threw shade at me, and I never clapped back. Brian used to insult me on a daily basis, and I never responded. He was a vibe; we miss that energy,” Nyako added.
She also explained that she had initially considered postponing the trip because of exhaustion after travelling to multiple destinations since arriving in Kenya.
However, she said that while resting and scrolling on TikTok, she came across one of Chira’s videos, which motivated her to gather strength and make the journey to Githunguri that same day.
“Here there are trees; it’s so cool, and the birds are even chirping. I had planned to postpone my trip because I was so tired. I’ve travelled to so many places since I came to Kenya. But when I was resting and scrolling TikTok, I came across his video, and I vowed to make the effort and come here,” Nyako said.
