Uhuru Kenyatta attends Lola Hannigan and Jomo Gecaga’s wedding

The wedding, which was kept private, saw only a select group of guests invited to celebrate the union.
Videos from the ceremony were later shared on Friday evening, December 26, 2027, by Lola Hannigan’s close friend, Anerlisa Muigai, who was also in attendance.
“Look at you, honey @lolahannigan, beautiful bride, #Amazing heart. #weddingday,” Anerlisa’s video caption reads.
The clips offered fans a rare glimpse into the heartfelt celebrations.
In addition to Uhuru Kenyatta, other prominent figures were present, including the fourth first lady, Margaret Kenyatta, adding to the event’s profile. The ceremony combined elegance and intimacy, reflecting the couple’s preference for a low-key yet memorable wedding.
Lola and Jomo
The wedding comes weeks after the couple welcomed their third child.
In October, Jomo celebrated his birthday, and Lola not only wished him a happy birthday but also made a beautiful announcement that they were expecting their third child together.
Lola’s message was full of love and appreciation, as she expressed how deeply Jomo’s love and care had impacted her life.
She thanked him for being an incredible father and partner, noting that words could hardly express the depth of her feelings. In her post, she described him as her calm, her constant, and her home.
“Happy Birthday my Love .Thank you for loving me with a kind of depth that words can hardly hold. Thank you for being such an incredible Father and always leading with such love and warmth. You are my Calm, my Constant, my Home,” Lola wrote.
“This year feels even more special celebrating you with another little heartbeat in our story. Please help me wish my Bestie a Happy Birthdaaaaayyyy.”
Jomo, who is known for his low-profile lifestyle, now has six children. He shares one child with Valentine Njoroge, two children (twins) with former news anchor Anne Kiguta, and three with Lola.
Despite his public family life, Gecaga has kept his children’s identities largely private, never sharing their photos on social media.
