Silence is better: Dama Wa Spares fires at Carol Kim for celebrating marrying Karangu Muraya

Popular city businesswoman Damaris Muriithi, alias Dama Wa Spares, has taken aim at Carol Kim, Karangu Muraya’s second wife, accusing her of shamelessly parading their marriage online.
In a lengthy post shared on Facebook on Saturday, January 17, 2026, Dama criticised what she described as unnecessary public celebrations and online displays surrounding Karangu Muraya’s new relationship, arguing that such actions disrespect the first wife and, more importantly, the children involved.
“Even if everyone can clap for you here online, I will always advocate for respect to the mother of the kids and to the children of the goat wife. Silence is better than shouting here shamelessly. I will talk about what many may fear to talk about. nilizoea mawe rusheni ata nimemiss; we are all sinners, but we use our common sense where needed,” she wrote.

Dama questioned why second wives or side partners feel compelled to publicly prove their marital status online, saying that marriage does not require social media validation.
According to her, openly celebrating a relationship that followed the breakdown of a marriage is not a win but rather an act of insensitivity, especially when the children are old enough to understand what is happening.
“Bragging about being happy after destroying someone’s marriage is uncalled for, thats not a win but deception, how will you brag about getting blessed with someone’s husband knowing well that the kids are mature enough to see this nonsense?” she shared.
Warning to men
In her statement, Dama also addressed married men, warning them against allowing new partners to provoke or disrespect the mothers of their children.
She argued that responsible men should protect their children’s emotional and psychological well-being by keeping new relationships private, especially after separation.
“To married men, even after separation, and you have children with your previous wife, never give your side chick or the 2nd wife the power and the guts to provoke the mother of your children to prove nonsense to unnecessary people, unless you are a fool and you didn’t love your children even before separation. Now, what if every man paraded their sidechicks and their 2nd wives online? How will it be? Can’t you do your marriage offline for the sake of your kids? What are you proving and to whom?” she lamented.
The outspoken businesswoman also voiced her support for Triza, Karangu Muraya’s first wife and the mother of his children, stating that she deserves respect regardless of the status of the marriage.
She condemned online provocation and urged all parties to prioritise peace over publicity.
“Where does someone get the guts to write this nonsense? Si ukuwe nyakiamburi na utulie uache mdomo mingi? , wewe utajua kuheshimu goat wives, nonsense! Wee sio wa kwanza kuolewa as 2nd wife; Muraya, Victor, and Shiro need respect. Kindly respect Triza Mamake Muraya !!!! Ata kama nilikuwa nimeoa yule favourite wenyu sikuwa na provoke the goat,” she added.

Her remarks appeared to directly respond to a romantic birthday message shared by Carol Kim in which she praised her relationship with Karangu Muraya, describing it as a blessing that came after separation and calling him her soulmate.
The post, which quickly circulated online, drew mixed reactions, with some congratulating the couple while others questioned its timing and tone.
