Pritty Vishy criticises Kenyans for overreacting to Njugush and Celestine’s split

In an Instagram post on Thursday, April 23, 2026, Pritty Vishy questioned why many people seemed unable to accept that the couple could choose to go their separate ways.
She pointed out that a lot of reactions were based on personal beliefs about love and marriage rather than the reality of the situation.
“You people are acting like they can’t separate. Why? Because you don’t believe they should?” she said.
“So wareconcile juu yako wambirianga !?nah let them do that if they see any need of that not because of people,” she wrote.
Her remarks come amid heightened public interest following Njugush’s recent confirmation that he and Celestine Ndinda had separated after years of marriage.
The comedian explained that the decision was made after careful consideration and mutual respect, adding that they remain committed to co-parenting their children. He also appealed for privacy as they adjust to the new chapter in their lives.
