Dropping a small silica gel packet inside your box absorbs leftover moisture from the surrounding air. Always apply lotions, body creams, and perfumes before slipping on your jewellery, giving cosmetics time to dry fully so chemicals do not sit on the metal.
When pieces look dull after a warm day, a quick wash restores their lustre. Soak the jewellery in warm water mixed with two drops of mild dish soap for five minutes.
Gently wipe the surface using a soft microfibre cloth, rinse with clean water, and dry every crease thoroughly before storing. Taking two minutes to dry your gold pieces keeps atmospheric moisture from breaking down the alloy, ensuring your jewellery stays bright through every season.
