Njugush confirms separation from Celestine Ndinda

Content creator Timothy Ndegwa Kimani, alias Blessed Njugush, has confirmed separating from his wife, Celestine Ndinda alias Wakavinye.
In a brief Instagram post on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Njugush stated that the two had decided to part ways after careful thought and with mutual respect.
The announcement has stirred reactions online, with many Kenyans expressing shock given the couple’s long-standing public image as one of the most admired celebrity pairs in the country.
For years, Njugush and Celestine built a strong brand around comedy, family content and business ventures, attracting a loyal fan base that often praised their teamwork on and off camera.

Joint statement
In the statement shared online, Njugush said the separation did not happen recently, revealing that the two had already been living apart while continuing to raise their children together.
“Last year, we made the decision to part ways after much thought and with mutual respect,” the statement read.
He added that their children remain the centre of their focus despite the change in their relationship.
“We have been co-parenting and our children remain our top priority. We continue to support one another and kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this next chapter,” he said.
The message was signed off with the name Njugush.

The couple had over the years become household names through digital comedy skits, live shows and corporate partnerships, with many fans seeing them as an example of growth, consistency and family unity in the entertainment industry.
Because of that public image, the announcement quickly became a major talking point across social media platforms, where supporters shared mixed reactions ranging from sadness to messages of encouragement.
Silence from Celestine
By the time of publishing this story, Celestine Ndinda had not issued a separate statement or publicly commented on the separation announcement.
Her silence has only added to public curiosity, with followers waiting to hear whether she will address the matter in her own words.
Even so, the statement from Njugush suggested the two remain committed to respectful co parenting and mutual support going forward.

The development now marks a new chapter for the pair, whose journey from online comedy creators to top entertainment entrepreneurs inspired many young creatives in Kenya.
While the reasons behind the split were not disclosed, the couple’s appeal for privacy signals they may choose to keep personal details away from the public eye.
Their fans are now left reflecting on the end of a partnership that for years appeared solid, relatable and deeply admired across the country.
