Nora Muendo halts job interview to pray for job seekers, bless their academic documents

In a video shared on her TikTok page on Thursday, March 12, 2026, the entrepreneur, who owns a popular baby shop, is seen gathering the applicants and leading them in a heartfelt prayer while asking them to hold their documents as she blessed them.
In the video, Muendo addressed the crowd calmly and asked everyone to hold their application papers as they joined her in a prayer.
“I want you to just hold your papers as we make this word of prayer. We might not all of us get this job, but as I pray, I want you also to pray for your papers, that they are going to be a blessing to you,” Nora said.
She told them that while not everyone might get the job being offered at her business, she wanted them to believe that their documents would still become a blessing in their lives.
She encouraged them to silently whisper their personal prayers to God, expressing her belief that something meaningful would happen according to God’s will.
“There is a God who answers prayers. And in your heart, whisper something to God. I believe after this prayer God is going to do something in accordance with His will,” she prayed.
Muendo began by thanking God for granting everyone another day of life and good health before asking for forgiveness for sins committed knowingly and unknowingly.
She prayed that their prayer would be accepted and that God would show mercy to those gathered.
“God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit here on earth and even in the universe, there is no one like You. You have been a good God and thank You for granting us another day for us to be alive and of good health,” she added.
She acknowledged that the people present had come looking for a source of income and were seeking employment.
During the prayer, she described God as the owner of silver and gold and asked for divine guidance as the interviews were about to be conducted. Muendo prayed that even though her company might not be able to hire everyone present, other doors of opportunity would open for them elsewhere.
“As we offer this prayer to You, oh God, I am begging for Your mercies, that You are going to forgive us our trespasses, the sins we have done knowingly and unknowingly, and that, Lord, You are going to accept our prayer. Lord, Your children are gathered here today, and they are looking for a source of income, and they are seeking a job, oh God,” Nora prayed.
Holding the moment together with the job seekers, she also prayed specifically for the documents they carried, asking that the papers they were holding would become a blessing for them. She expressed hope that wherever they would take their documents in search of opportunities, they would receive positive responses.
“You are the owner of silver and gold, Father, and today we conduct interviews for them for a job, but I pray that not only this opening in this company will be a blessing to their lives, but that You will open other doors for them, oh God,” she added.
Muendo further prayed that God would help her and her team select the best candidates for the roles available while also ensuring that the chosen individuals would benefit from the opportunity. At the same time, she expressed hope that those who would not be selected would still find success in other workplaces.
“We might not be able to take in everyone, but Lord, I am praying that for the papers they are holding, I am praying that they are going to be a blessing in Your holy name, I pray. Any office they walk into, they may always get something positive from there. We are all hopeful, and we believe that You are also helping us pick the best people, for us, for You, and for the benefit of themselves also, oh God,” she prayed.
