No bad blood: Goliath wa Bungoma says Obinna’s advice to return home changed his life
By William Muthama, February 10, 2026Content creator and internet personality Goliath wa Bungoma has dismissed any grudge against media personality Oga Obinna, saying there is no bad blood between them following his Rudi Ushago sentiments.
Speaking during an interview with Obinna on Monday night, February 9, 2026, Goliath expressed gratitude, saying the earlier advice to return to Bungoma helped him find direction and opened doors that contributed to his recent success.
“When we met, I never expected that telling me to go back to ushago would have such an impact, but it helped me a lot. That advice opened doors and led me to opportunities I never imagined,” Goliath said.
He revealed that his life has taken a significant turn since then, including the construction of a three-bedroom bungalow, funded and built by a company he works with.
“The things that have happened to me are beyond what I ever thought possible. My house is being built, and I have been allocated a three-bedroom bungalow,” he shared.

Goliath added that his current engagements have eased his daily living expenses, noting that the company he works with now covers his basic needs, including food.
“Right now, I don’t even buy food. Everything is paid for by the company. I just go home and sleep,” he said.
Addressing public speculation about tension between him and Obinna, Goliath reiterated that there is no animosity.
“I have no grudge against Obinna, and I cannot hate him. We never fought or argued. That advice was a way of opening doors and helping me,” he stated.
Goliath’s sentiments come days after Obinna was forced to respond to online discussions following the construction of Goliath’s house, with some social media users criticising him for his earlier advice.
Clarifying his position, Obinna said that his guidance for Goliath to return to Bungoma was never criticism but aimed at helping him grow at a time when he was still finding his footing in entertainment and social media.
“I told him to return, restrategise, and come back stronger. It wasn’t about rejecting him; it was about helping him see where he could add value,” Obinna noted, adding that he harbours no envy over Goliath’s success and is genuinely happy to see him thrive.
