In a video that has since gone viral, Njugush drew a line between personal choices and how the same should not be used to influence others who have not made similar ones.
According to the content creator, true maturity is not defined by passing judgement on those who make contrary choices and making them feel bad.
“This is for those who claim to be mature, our friends who are mature na ni maturity haiko,” Njugush stated in the video posted on his official social media accounts on Friday, January 23, 2026.
“Unajua mimi nilijikataza skari sikukatazwa na daktari (Do you know that I stopped taking sugar by choice),” Njugush said while mimicking how the phrase is often used in everyday conversation.
The comedian noted that those who make such choices should refrain from trying to convince others who still take sugar.

Njugush also urged those who are accustomed to waking up early, including on weekends, to refrain from criticising those who wake up later than them.
“Mimi unajua naamkanga five unajua mwili wangu ilishatune hata Saturday na Sunday naamkanga five,” Njugush stated before questioning why some tend to pass judgment on those who sleep until later in the day.
He also gave his take on fitness enthusiasts to refrain from making comments praising their choices in front of those who do not go to the gym.

He opined that some of those who make such choices may be regretting them inwardly and unable to walk back on their choices.
“Mnawish hamngejiweka hapo, unajua ukishajiweka hapo huwezi jitoa (Some wish to take themselves out of this space of fake maturity but cannot once they join)” Njugush added.
