Salvation Healing Ministry’s founder Victor Kanyari has reached out to one of the women filmed in viral videos involving a Russian national who has sparked national conversation.

Taking to his official Facebook page on Saturday, February 14, 2026, the preacher addressed the mother directly, offering support amid the ongoing social media debate surrounding the clips.

Kanyari said that he was looking for the woman, urging her to contact him, and added that he, too, was a product of the public’s wrath.

According to him, his actions have been influenced by the woman’s children, who were present when the Russian man approached her on the roadside.

“Well, she may be married or not, but for the sake of your kids, nakutafuta, Mum. I am a product of hate and speculation. Nitafute, Mum, I will be there for you,” Kanyari said.

The preacher acknowledged that the woman could be facing judgment from members of the public but encouraged her to remain strong.

Despite hateful comments, Kanyari also urged her not to be discouraged by public criticism.

“The society might judge you, but God and you only know the truth…. Our pasts are even worse!” he added.

Apart from Kanyari, Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya also sympathised with the mother following the action of the Russian man.

Chenye kimenisinya unaona mama kwa street na mtoto, then shamelessly he stops the mother take her no and calls her in the evening. I think that was disrespectful to the child,” Salasya added.

Kama walikutana kama hana mtoto na amuombe number then meet later that could make sense.”

Russian man

As of February 14, 2026, the foreign national, identified as Yaytseslav (also referred to as Vyacheslav Trahov), had attracted attention across Africa, particularly in Ghana and Kenya, for posting videos of intimate encounters with local women.

In the videos, he is seen recording himself as he approaches women in public spaces such as the Accra Mall in Ghana and shopping malls in Nairobi, Kenya.

According to reports, he used smart glasses to secretly capture these initial interactions as well as private encounters in hotel rooms or Airbnbs.

Shortened versions of the videos were shared on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

The videos sparked widespread debate over privacy, informed consent, and the ethics of filming intimate encounters without consent.
