‘Nilipatikana!’ – Foi Wambui announces surprise engagement
Actress Foi Wambui has announced her engagement, revealing that a recent trip to the Coast ended with a life-changing surprise.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Foi shared that she had been recording parts of a reel every week under the playful caption, “Raye, where is my husband?” not knowing when the question would finally be answered.

“I had no idea in the world that I would be going to Coast as a girlfriend and coming back as a fiancée,” she wrote. “Ah! My man really did a big one on this, and I’m so overwhelmed with love and gratitude. Nilipatikana!”

Foi disclosed that she had been filming two different versions of the same reel every week, one in case the proposal happened sooner, and another in case it took longer.
“Well, technically, I didn’t know when it was going to happen,” she explained, adding humorously that she prepared for both possibilities.
The actress described the moment as the biggest surprise of her life, saying she had no idea she would leave for the Coast as a girlfriend and return as a fiancée.
Faith at the Centre
Beyond the romance, Foi anchored her announcement in faith, describing her love story as “intentionally authored by God.”
“All glory to God,” she stated. “I now know without any shadow of doubt that God hears, God sees us, God knows us, God cares about every part of our lives, and God loves us deeply.”
She went further, expressing gratitude and praying that others would experience divine favour in their own journeys.
Her engagement comes three years after breaking up with Charisma. In 2024, Foi Wambui was forced to address reunion rumours, firmly shutting them down.
“Nothing is going on between Charisma and me. As of today, he is not my boyfriend. Yes, we had something going on previously, but now we are just friends,” she stated, dismissing persistent online chatter that suggested otherwise.
