Nairofey reveals baby girl names she had in mind before welcoming her son

Kenyan content creator Nairofey has revealed a list of baby girl names she had carefully saved in her phone long before becoming a mother.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday, March 12, 2026, the digital creator shared that she once kept a folder in her notes filled with names she hoped to give her daughter someday. Like many mothers-to-be who dream about baby names during pregnancy, Nairofey had apparently done her homework early. The list included names such as Elaine, Ella, Elisa, Chloe, Nia, Taraji, Zuri, Aaliyah, Harper and Alora.
“Just found this folder on my notes for names I would’ve named my daughter if I had a girl Girl 03/01/2025 Elaine 10:28 < Notes Girl Elaine Ella Elisa Chloe Nia Taraji Zuri Aaliyah Harper Alora,” Nairofey shared.
Ironically, all that planning for a daughter ended up being unnecessary, at least for now. Nairofey and her husband, Yeforian, welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in August 2025. The couple shared the joyful news with their followers, describing the newborn as the greatest blessing in their lives.
The arrival of their son came just a few months after the couple had announced that they were expecting. In May 2025, Nairofey revealed the pregnancy through a series of photos showing her cradling her baby bump while dressed in white alongside her husband.
The announcement was particularly meaningful for fans who had followed the couple’s journey over the years, including a very public breakup in 2023 and a later reconciliation.
By the time their baby arrived later that year, many followers described the moment as a full-circle chapter for the couple. Parenthood, it seems, arrived not just as a new phase of life but also as proof that love stories sometimes survive dramatic plot twists.
Since welcoming their son, Nairofey has also been candid about the realities of motherhood. She has spoken openly about the exhaustion that comes with caring for a newborn and the emotional adjustments that come with the role. At one point, she admitted the experience had been overwhelming, especially with sleepless nights and the constant responsibility of caring for the baby.
