Stevo Simple Boy appeals for prayers after child is admitted to hospital
Musician and social media personality Stevo Simple Boy has appealed to fans to pray for his son, Dragon Junior, who has been admitted to a hospital in Nairobi.
The emotional appeal came after the toddler was rushed to the facility for treatment, with the Freshi Barida hitmaker sharing a video update from the hospital.

In the heartfelt clip, Stevo is seen alongside his ex-wife, Brenda, as they remain by their son’s bedside.
Sharing the update on Instagram on Sunday, July 6, 2026, “Dragon Junior ameletwa Nairobi akalazwa @komarockmodern. Pray for him kwa hii saa ngumu,” the singer wrote.

Although he did not reveal the nature of the illness, the post quickly attracted hundreds of messages from fans wishing the young boy a speedy recovery.
The video also showed Stevo and Brenda putting aside their past differences to support their son during the difficult moment, highlighting their commitment to co-parenting despite no longer being together.
Co-parenting after separation
Stevo and Brenda welcomed Dragon Junior in November 2025 before ending their relationship in March 2026, just a few months after his birth.
Speaking in previous interviews, Stevo confirmed the separation, saying the relationship had broken down over personal disagreements.
While he declined to disclose the details, describing them as “a long story,” he maintained that both remained committed to raising their son.

During an interview with Radio Maisha, the musician said they had chosen to prioritise Dragon Junior’s well-being and continue working together as parents despite the breakup.
Dragon Junior has become a familiar face among Stevo’s followers, although the musician initially kept him away from the public eye. At one point, Stevo jokingly said he would only reveal his son’s face for Ksh5 million.
