Sunday mood in full gear as Senator Methu grooves to Sarah K’s ‘Bisha Bisha’ hit
Nyandarua Senator John Methu has given his followers a glimpse into his relaxed Sunday mood after sharing a video of himself enjoying renowned gospel singer Dr Sarah K’s latest worship anthem, Bisha Bisha, while travelling in his car.
The short clip captured the youthful senator seated in the driver’s seat, smartly dressed in a dark suit as the popular gospel song played through his vehicle’s sound system.
Appearing calm and in high spirits, Methu gently moved his head from side to side in rhythm with the music while singing along to several parts of the song word for word, clearly showing his familiarity with the uplifting worship hit.
Throughout the video, the senator remained buckled up with his seat belt fastened as he continued listening to the song, occasionally mouthing its lyrics while keeping his attention on the road.
His signature long beard and distinctive afro hairstyle were also noticeable, adding to the laid-back moment that contrasted with the often-busy and demanding nature of his political schedule.

Chart-topping hit
Methu’s choice of music comes as Bisha Bisha continues to gain popularity among Christians across Kenya and beyond since its official release on June 1, 2026.
The song, which runs for 10 minutes and 54 seconds, was recorded live by Dr Sarah K alongside the Shachah Team and centres on the biblical message of persistence in prayer, unwavering faith and trusting in God’s timing.
Drawing inspiration from Matthew 7:7, the worship anthem repeatedly urges believers to ask, seek and knock with confidence that God hears their prayers.
Its memorable refrain, “Bisha! Bisha! Bisha! Bisha! Bisha utafunguliwa, asema Bwana,” encourages Christians to remain steadfast during difficult seasons while trusting that God will open doors in His perfect time.

The song also references the biblical story of Paul and Silas, who praised God while imprisoned until their chains were broken and the prison doors were opened, reinforcing its message of hope, perseverance and divine intervention.
Bisha Bisha was first performed during a live worship recording held on May 16, 2026, at the All Saints Cathedral Auditorium in Nairobi before being released on YouTube and major streaming platforms as part of Dr Sarah K’s Back to the Root of Worship revival campaign.
Born Sarah Njeri Mwangi, Dr Sarah K is regarded as one of Kenya’s most influential gospel ministers, having spent more than three decades shaping the country’s gospel music industry.
She rose to national prominence through her hit song Liseme after years of perseverance and has since released numerous albums and over 100 songs, earning widespread respect for her powerful worship ministry and inspirational music.
