My girl: Kanyari thrilled as Marion Naipei attends his church service

Pastor Victor Kanyari could not hide his excitement after Marion Naipei attended his church service.

Kanyari, during the service held at Salvation and Healing Ministry at Njiru, Nairobi County, on Sunday, January 25, 2026, described her as his “new sweetheart” and “my girl”, while introducing her to the congregation.

Na sasa nilipata my new sweetheart in town, and she is here, my girl, my girl,” Kanyari said.

Kanyari revealed that he had personally invited Marion to the main service, joking that she was the one “preaching” that day.

He added that she is not only his best friend but also someone he deeply admires and loves for her confidence.

Na nilikuambia ukuje mapema uhubiri leo main service ilikuwa ni wewe ndio uhubiri,” Kanyaria added.

“She is my bestfriend na ninampenda sana.”

The self-proclaimed prophet further highlighted the bond they share, playfully referring to themselves as future

Nakupenda sana kwa kujiamini, do not worry, sisi ndio maceleb wa kesho, si unamimi ni celeb wa Ksh310, na wewe sasa ni celeb bande ile yengine,” Kanyari said.

In addition, the preacher also addressed rumours surrounding their relationship, explaining that some people thought he was interested in Marion for the wrong reasons.

Kuna watu wanasema Kanyari alichukua huyu msichana kwa sababu kuna kitu aliona akapenda, mwenye aliona hiyo video ilikuwa ni PA wangu alafu akanionyesha ndio nikasema ukuje,” he added.

Kanyari’s monetary gift

This comes after he gifted Ksh50,000 to Marion on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

The incident happened at his church, where he openly addressed the woman and spoke about compassion and support.

“Today, because you are my friend, nimekubariki na 50 thousand. Nilikua nimesema nitakupatia,” he said.

He added that he believed this support would mark a turning point in her life.

“Najua, you will never be chini tena,” he explained as he asked her to sit on his chair.

He called on the congregation to applaud her and reflect on the message behind the gesture.

“Sit down hapo kwa kiti yangu. Mpigie makofi,” he said as he emphasised the importance of standing with vulnerable people.

“Ukisimama na wanyonge, Mungu atasimama na wewe,” he explained.

Kanyari told Marion that judgement from the public should not stop her from seeking help.

“Many will judge you, but I promised to stand with you and support you. The journey has just started. Never feel any shame coming to me; the doors are always open for you,” he explained.

“Unaona wewe ni celeb? Na wewe you love God, na mungu atakupeleka mbali.”
