Mummie Francie pens emotional message to husband as they mark 1 year with their son
By Steve Ireri, May 15, 2026Content creator Mummie Francie has penned an emotional tribute to her husband, Mbaba, as the couple celebrated one year since the birth of their son.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, May 14, 2026, Mummie reflected on her personal journey, her family life, and the challenges she faced growing up, revealing how those experiences shaped the woman she has become today.
She recalled a difficult childhood marked by financial struggles, including frequent relocations due to unpaid rent and moments where basic shelter was not guaranteed, saying such experiences left a lasting emotional impact on her.
“Part 3! As we celebrate 1 yr with our son, this is a tribute to my husband so my baby can have some of his kindness, Patience, love, and care, plus all the beautiful gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit! I told myself if the streets raised me, then I’ll do it the streets’ way to change what we were becoming. I saw my childhood flash before my eyes because that’s not a life I was willing to go back to. Growing up, life was all about moving houses because rent wasn’t paid, let alone kufungiwa nyumba. There’s a time we stayed for months without a door because the agent removed it ,” she wrote.
The content creator explained that those hardships pushed her into what she described as business mode, motivating her to work harder and build stability for herself and her family at a young age.
“That fear and trauma awakened a business beast mode in me. It wasn’t the best business strategy, but it was unique, unseen before, and it yielded fruit on a platform most people thought was only for dancing in 2021
. My goal was to rise, pull my husband back to stability, then go back to being the cute house lady I was,
but God had His own plans I guess,” she wrote.

Mummie also shared that her journey into content creation in 2021 played a key role in transforming her life, helping her achieve financial growth on a platform she said many initially associated only with entertainment.
In her tribute, she praised her husband, Mbaba, for standing by her through the highs and lows, describing him as a source of encouragement who consistently supported her ambitions and personal growth.
“But I can look back and say he built me, he covered me up, wrapped me in courage and empowered me. Never was he negative about anything I wanted to do. In words he’d always say, you got this, go ahead!” she wrote.
She revealed that despite the challenges in their marriage, she has always recognised both his strengths and flaws, acknowledging that no relationship is without difficulties.
Mummie Francie further expressed gratitude for the role her husband played in her journey, saying he encouraged her dreams and never discouraged her from pursuing her goals.
“He has made me question my sanity more times than I can imagine because he ain’t no saint, but he is a good man, Savannah. Not sure he’d want to do this with me again in the next life,
but trust me, I’ll still find him because it’s me or nobody else, mbaba
even death won’t do us,” she added.
