Mkamburi Chigogo questions why Celestine Ndinda’s profile still reads ‘wife’

Radio host Mkamburi Chigogo has questioned why Celestine Ndinda’s profile still reads “wife” despite a past separation statement by comedian Njugush.
She explained that the situation has raised confusion about the current status of their relationship. She said the wording on her profile does not seem to match the earlier announcement.
“Something really pissed off this man, Njugush,” Mkamburi Chigogo said on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
She went on to describe how the statement announcing the separation appeared to him. He explained that it did not look like a joint decision from both parties. He added that the tone of the message raised questions about how it was written.
“For him to release this statement that looks like she was just sitting there, thinking and calculating and then he went to chat and said, ‘Write me a break-up note,'” Mkamburi Chigogo said.
She also pointed to Celestine Ndinda’s profile, saying it still carries the title “wife.” She explained that this detail has left her unsure about whether the separation fully reflects their current situation.
“And when you check the hun’s profile, it still says wife bla bla bla,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.
Profile details raise questions
Mkamburi Chigogo said she is not certain about the true status of the relationship and added that such announcements are often expected to come from both people involved.
“So I don’t know if she is still married to this man who said they separated last year,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.
She further suggested that there may have been issues behind the scenes. He explained that something could have led to the decision to release the statement. He added that the timing and tone of the message point to possible tension.
“Something must have pissed off Njugush,” Mkamburi Chigogo said, adding, “One, these guys didn’t do a joint statement.”
She continued by suggesting that there may have been signs earlier and explained that there were discussions about the couple living separately before the statement.
For years, Timothy Kimani and Celestine Ndinda were known as a strong couple who worked together and built a shared brand. However, Njugush on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 announced that they had separated.
