Marion Naipei spotted pouring anointing oil on Kanyari’s church members
Social media personality Marion Naipei is trending once again after a video surfaced showing her pouring anointing oil on a section of Kanyari’s church members’ legs during a church service.
In a video shared by Kanyari on TikTok on Thursday, February 12, 2026, Marion, who went viral after a controversial video of her with a man in a Nairobi club went viral, is seen kneeling down and carefully applying the oil on the congregants in a calm manner.
In the video, worship music is heard playing softly in the background as more and more congregants lined up to receive the anointing from her.
The video also shows a man, who appeared to be a senior preacher in the church, also kneeling beside Marion and holding the bowl that contained the oil for her as she kept herself engaged, applying it to the congregants.
Members of the church had to remove their shoes first before approaching her to receive the anointing, and each, according to the video, is seen sitting on a seat as the ritual is administered to them.
Kanyari’s message
While sharing the video on TikTok, Kanyari confirmed that he had officially entrusted Marion with the role of pouring oil on other of his church members as part of the service.
He also shared that there is no limit to someone who had a troubled past getting saved and receiving Christ, emphasising that nothing can stand in the way of true salvation or a renewed relationship with God.

“Marion Naipei anointing fellow church members. What is that thing that will bar a relationship between my Saviour?” the preacher wrote, affirming his stance on redemption and spiritual transformation.
Pastor Marion Naipei
The development comes just days after the Salvation and Healing Ministry founder revealed plans to ordain Marion Naipei as a pastor at his church.
Speaking during an interview with local YouTubers on Friday, January 29, 2026, Kanyari said the ordination will happen soon, noting that Naipei will also be preaching at the church.
He added that she will be part of the pastoral team at his church and even described her as his pastor.
“Very soon, Marion atakuwa our pastor hapa, nitam ordain hapa na akuwe pastor atakuwa anatuhubiria hapa hata mimi atakuwa pastor wangu,” Kanyari revealed.
Kanyari explained that his decision to support Naipei was driven by concern for her following the backlash she faced online after the scandal.
He added that he felt it would be wrong to abandon her during a difficult moment.
The preacher said he ensured Naipei joined his church as a way of offering support and guidance during the challenging period.
“Marion ni rafiki yangu na siwezi taka kuona mtu akiteseka katika nchi ya Kenya, niliona watu wakipiga Marion sana na wakati niliona anapigwa, nikajua kwamba nishawai pitia katika scandal na nikajua nikimwacha Marion hivi na akose mtu wa kusimama na yeye na kumsaidia itakuwa vibaya,” he added.
“That’s why nika make sure amekuja kanisani.”
Kanyari on the viral video
Addressing the controversy surrounding leaked private content, Kanyari appeared to downplay the issue, saying such situations are common.
“Hakuna mtu hana nudes, ni vile zake zilileak hiyo ni kawaida,” Kanyari noted.
