Content creator and TikToker Mama Jimmy has shared how excited she is to finally return to Kenya after an eventful and busy 18-month stay in the United States.

In a video she posted on her TikTok page on Friday, December 5, 2025, Mama Jimmy said she could hardly believe that almost two years had passed in the United States and thanked God for keeping her safe throughout her time abroad.

She also revealed that they left the US on Monday, December 1, 2025, and mentioned that they had been staying in a very expensive hotel following their arrival in the country.

“Guys, we are in Nairobi now. We left the US on Monday night and arrived here in Nairobi that same night. We stayed in another hotel here, which is very comfortable and cosy,” she shared.

At the same time, Mama Jimmy took the opportunity to update her fans on how she was finding Kenya, given that she has not lived in the country for quite some time.

She said she was surprised by how cool the weather was, adding that in the US they often had to rely on air conditioners because it can get very hot there.

“I shared a room with Cynthia, while Baba Jimmy shared a bed with Jimmy. The place where we are staying has a fridge and a microwave, and we can make coffee or tea anytime we want. I woke up and showered because we wanted to get ready to go home. Even today, I had to wear a short-sleeved top, but I wonder why there are no air conditioners here to use when it gets hot, unlike in the US. But I love that the hotel has free Wi-Fi,” Mama Jimmy added.

Earlier, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, Mama Jimmy shared a similar update, posting a video of herself and her husband, Baba Jimmy, on a plane. She appeared elated and said she was happy about how 2025 had unfolded, noting how God had supported and guided her throughout the year.

“This year has been full of surprises, and many good things have happened to me. I can only thank God. He has done so much for me, and I am happy that I am now returning to Kenya,” she wrote.

Relocation

Mama Jimmy relocated to the United States with her family in June 2024, after she, her husband Isaiah Carrier and their two children were granted visas to travel abroad.

Prior to the move, the family had been living in Kenya, where Baba Jimmy had been actively involved in missionary work.

The relocation marked a major transition for the family, who left behind familiar surroundings to settle in a new country and navigate the challenges that come with adjusting to life overseas.

The move also provided an opportunity for Mama Jimmy to meet her husband’s eleven siblings residing in the United States, strengthening family connections that had previously been maintained from afar.
