Mama Gift kicks off dreamy Diani getaway after son’s specialised treatment in India
TikToker Mama Gift Gathoge has been treated to an all-expenses-paid Diani vacation just days after she landed back in the country following weeks of seeking specialised treatment for her son in India.
The TikToker started the vacay on Thursday, February 5, 2026, and she shared updates about how well it was going and how she was feeling about it.
In the latest update, which she shared on a TikTok Live on Friday, February 6, 2026, Mama Gift reflected on how good it felt to swim in a heated swimming pool early in the morning.
She noted that she was receiving the much-needed rest and went ahead to warn people who were asking her to move over to the pool’s deep end, despite her not knowing how to swim well.
“Yeah, here in Diani things are well. I am enjoying it, and truly, I thank God. And yeah, you see, I am swimming in the pool now, despite it being morning. It’s not cold. I see someone in the comments asking. It’s a heated swimming pool,” she shared happily.
Kenya return
At the time, Mama Gift asked her fans to start sending her travel mercies, as her trip back to Kenya would commence at any time.
“Coming back soon. Safe flights wishes in advance,” she wrote.

The update came just days after Mama Gift confirmed that her child, Baby Gift, had received treatment and was now able to breathe on his own without the need for an air pipe.
In an earlier update shared on TikTok on January 22, 2026, Mama Gift expressed immense gratitude to God for answering her desperate prayers, insisting that Baby Gift’s recovery was nothing short of a miracle.
“From oxygen dependent to breathing on his own, God has given another chance, truly,” she wrote.
Further, in a separate post shared on Friday, January 30, 2026, Mama Gift reflected on the immense suffering she endured while her child battled illness and extended heartfelt thanks to all who supported her in seeking treatment for him.
She revealed that no words could fully express what she felt in her heart and insisted that it was God who made everything possible.
“No words can express my gratitude towards this doing. Lord, I am always grateful,” she shared.
At the same time, Mama Gift encouraged her fans to make prayer a habit and to maintain faith when praying, emphasising that faith is how prayers are answered.
“Pray and have faith that one day things will work out,” she wrote.
