‘I expected women’: Presenter Kai’s wife reacts after men make up majority of her followers

Streets interviewer and YouTuber Presenter Kai’s wife, Diana Yegon, has reacted candidly after discovering that most people following her online are men, a revelation that caught her by surprise.
In a post shared on her Facebook page on Saturday, January 3, 2026, Diana revealed that she had expected her audience to be largely female.
“I am followed by mostly men. (54%) I expected most to be women,” she wrote.

Instead, she expressed amusement after learning that men dominate her following, jokingly addressing the men on her page and playfully blessing them for their support.
“But all in all it’s ok. Men from my page, I want to bless you so much,“ she added.
Only after sharing her personal reaction did she go on to post screenshots of her page’s analytics, offering a clearer picture of who makes up her audience.
According to the statistics she shared, men account for a slight majority of her followers, making up about 55 per cent, compared to 45 per cent women.
The data further shows that her page is especially popular among young adults, with the largest group being followers aged between 25 and 34 years, who account for roughly 44.9 per cent of her audience.
The second-largest group falls within the 18 to 24 age bracket, representing about 38.2 per cent.

Overall, the insights indicate that more than 83 per cent of her followers are between the ages of 18 and 34, highlighting a strong youthful presence on her page.
Action on naysayers
In a statement on Facebook on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Kai expressed disappointment over the incident, noting that while he and his wife deeply appreciate and respect their fans, they will not tolerate disrespect and character attacks.
“We love and respect our fans very much, but not for them to disrespect us in this way. I have tried to tell him to stop, but he has not listened, so now let the law handle him,” Kai stated.

He emphasised that the spread of manipulated images not only tarnishes their personal reputation but also risks damaging the professional partnerships they hold with various brands.
“We will not allow our images to be ruined, especially considering that we represent so many companies. Let this be a lesson to everyone,” he added.
