Flaqo reacts to viral dating claims, says he found out online like everyone else
Comedian Flaqo has responded to claims that he is dating a woman identified as Cindi, saying he learned about the story online like everyone else.
On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, he dismissed the reports and questioned how details about his life could have been created without his knowledge. He explained that the claims about his relationship and residence are not true.

He said the rumours spread quickly and reached him through direct messages from people asking about the alleged relationship. He explained that he found it surprising that people were discussing details about his life that he did not recognise. He added that the situation shows how fast false information can move.
“Wake up one morning and everybody in my dm abt some dating, some Cindi and living in Rongai, sasa Cindi ni nani?” Flaqo said.
He explained that the claims that he lives in Rongai are also inaccurate. He said he only visits the area occasionally and does not understand how the story placed him there. He added that the narrative being shared does not match his real life.
“I go to Rongai once in 3 months. How do I live there?” Flaqo said.
Flaqo questions the origin of viral claims
He said the situation felt unusual because he was also learning about the claims as they spread online. He explained that the experience was like watching a story unfold without any involvement. He added that such stories are created and shared without verification.
“Mnacome up na stories offhead and feed it to people, then I learn about it online like a new movie we are all watching for the first time?” Flaqo said.
He explained that at first, he laughed at the situation because of how unexpected it was. He said the claims did not make sense to him and appeared exaggerated. He added that the humour quickly faded as he considered the impact of such false information.
“I laughed at first, but on the serious side, lying is not cool, Kenya tuko waongo sana,” Flaqo said.
He concluded by maintaining that the claims about dating Cindi and living in Rongai are not true.
