Comedian Eric Omondi has continued his walk from Nairobi to Busia, defying heavy rains on the second day of the charity initiative.

The comedian was seen braving a heavy downpour in Gilgil with a sizeable procession accompanying him through the town as he headed towards Busia.

In a statement on his social media profiles on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Omondi asserted that against all odds, he would make it to his destination.

“Against all odds…Tumepita Gilgil na Mvua. Busia tutafika. Sisi kwa Sisi Help and Rescue centre will be a reality soon,” the philanthropist stated on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

This loosely translates to: “We have passed Gilgil amid heavy downpour and shall make it to Busia and Sisi Kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre will be a reality soon”.
