Wicknell Chivayo dines and spends time with King Mswati III at royal palace

Chivayo said he had the opportunity to meet the King again during his latest visit to the kingdom.
Chivayo described the dinner as a special experience and praised King Mswati III for the way he welcomes him during his visits. He said the monarch’s approach to leadership continues to leave a strong impression on him.
“AMAZING KINGDOM OF ESWATINI… Once again, it was an absolute pleasure and privilege to have dinner and spend time with His Majesty King Mswati III at the Royal Palace yesterday evening,” Chivayo said on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Chivayo said he has met the King several times and continues to be impressed by his character. He explained that the monarch’s humility, warmth and interest in the country’s development stood out to him during their latest meeting.
Chivayo praises king’s vision for Eswatini
The businessman also spoke about King Mswati III’s interest in investment and economic development. He said the King remains welcoming despite the responsibilities that come with leading the kingdom.
“Despite the enormous responsibility he carries as King, he remains incredibly welcoming, engaging and deeply committed to seeing Eswatini move forward,” Chivayo said.
Chivayo further said his meetings with the monarch have increased his interest in Eswatini’s development. He mentioned investment, infrastructure development and economic growth as areas that have impressed him during his visits to the kingdom.
“I am equally grateful that His Majesty continues to welcome and encourage me as I pursue my various endeavours in infrastructure development and renewable energy projects within this beautiful Kingdom,” Chivayo said.
Chivayo said his repeated visits have made him feel at home in Eswatini. He also thanked the King for the warmth and hospitality he has received during his time in the kingdom.
He ended his message by thanking King Mswati III for welcoming him once again. Chivayo also wished the monarch wisdom, strength and many more years of service to the people of Eswatini.
Chivayo is also known for his flashy lifestyle, often sharing glimpses of his expensive cars, luxury trips and high-profile meetings. His latest visit to Eswatini adds to the public image he has built around his wealth, business interests and close ties with prominent figures.
