Vera Sidika laughs off claims she depends on sponsored trips

Vera Sidika has laughed off claims that she is broke and depends on sponsored trips, saying she has quietly travelled to several places without sharing every detail of her movements.

The social media personality addressed the claims while responding to remarks about her lifestyle and travel.

Sidika said some people have wrongly assumed that she no longer travels because she does not always post about her trips. She explained that she has been travelling quietly and only reveals some of her movements when she feels the need to provide proof.

“Alafu kuna wale wa; she is broke she no longer travels anymore lol When I’ve lowkey been all over ata if not for me having to pull receipts, nobody would even think I was out the country they would say she’s broke & not posting coz maisha imemchapa,” Vera Sidika said on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Sidika said the claims also made her realise that some people believe she travels through free sponsored trips. She laughed off the idea and said her travel history this year alone could not be matched by those making such claims.

“Ata this one thought same she thought I’m those influencers wa free sponsored trips,” Vera Sidika said.

The social media personality also responded to a remark questioning whether she could afford her lifestyle. Sidika said she has spent a lot of time travelling by plane this year and suggested that her travel record speaks for itself.

Sidika said she does not feel the need to explain everything about her life or share every move she makes. She explained that people can easily form opinions about her when they only see what she chooses to post publicly.

“People always think they know me better than myself,” Vera Sidika said.

Sidika maintained that she prefers to keep some parts of her life private. She said her decision to move quietly means that people may not always know where she has been or what she has been doing.

“Baby, I move in silence. Always,” Vera Sidika said.

She also said that even people close to her may not always know everything about her. Sidika explained that she keeps certain details to herself, making it difficult for others to fully understand her movements and plans.
