TikToker Hilda opens up about emotional journey after breast reduction surgery

TikToker Hilda, popularly known as Online Bestie, has opened up about her emotional journey after undergoing breast reduction surgery.
Hilda recently had the cosmetic procedure and has shared details about her experience before and after the operation. She said making the decision was not easy because she was more attached to her breasts than she had expected.
Hilda explained that she became emotional while preparing for the procedure. She said she cried several times before making the final decision and continued crying while the doctor was marking her body before the surgery. The TikToker said the experience made her realise how difficult the decision had been for her.
“I cried so much before I decided to reduce my boobs. I was more attached than I thought. I was crying even when the doctor was marking me,” Hilda said on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Hilda said the surgery marked a major change for her as she adjusted to her new appearance. She explained that two months after the procedure, she was happy with the results. However, she said she was still learning to accept the scars left after the surgery.
Hilda shares her recovery journey
Hilda said she now loves the results of the breast reduction despite the emotional experience she went through before the procedure. She explained that accepting the scars has become part of her recovery journey. The TikToker said she is learning to embrace the changes to her body.
“2 months later I love them, but I am now learning to embrace the scars,” Hilda said.
Hilda, who is popularly known as Online Bestie, shared that she had undergone cosmetic surgery in a video posted on her social media pages. She also shared the video on YouTube on Saturday, July 18, 2026, where she documented her preparation and recovery. She said she would continue giving updates throughout the process.
Hilda explained that she had postponed the procedure before finally deciding to proceed. She also told her audience what she planned to have done as she prepared for the operation. She said she was slightly nervous ahead of the scheduled surgery.
“The day is finally here, nime postpone but the day is finally here so, let me tell you what I am going to get, ama niwache ikue siri? This is my body now. See how we are looking?” Hilda said.
Hilda said the procedure involved reducing her breasts and removing the tummy area. She explained that she was ready to document the process and keep people updated about her progress. She also shared that the surgery had been scheduled for 2 pm and admitted that she was only a little nervous.
“We are going to reduce boobs and remove this tummy area, and so that is how I am looking now. I will keep you updated. Am I nervous? Just a bit. My surgery is scheduled at 2 pm,” Hilda said.
Two months after the procedure, Hilda said she is happy with her results while continuing to adjust to the scars. Her comments show the emotional side of her decision and the changes that came with the cosmetic surgery.
