Popular city businesswoman Shiquo Wa Hiistyle has offered women a glimpse into her marriage while sharing advice on the kind of partner they should choose.

Shiquo shared the message on TikTok on Saturday, August 1, 2026, alongside a loved-up video featuring her and her husband, whom she has kept largely away from the public spotlight.

The businesswoman appeared to encourage women to prioritise companionship and friendship when choosing a life partner, suggesting that the ideal spouse should be someone they would genuinely enjoy spending time with even in the absence of a wider social circle.

“A life hack is to marry someone that, if you had no friends at all, you would gladly spend every waking moment with,” she wrote.

Her message came alongside a romantic video that offered her followers a rare glimpse of the man she is married to.

In the video, Shiquo and her tall, handsome husband appeared to be preparing to leave their home as they spent time together on the outer patio of their mansion.

Shiquo was seen holding a cute umbrella and her handbag as she spoke to her husband, who appeared to be getting ready by buttoning his shirt.

The two looked relaxed and comfortable in each other’s company, with Shiquo repeatedly smiling as she held her husband’s hand.

The intimate moment appeared to capture the couple’s ease and affection as they prepared to head out of their home.

Her husband was later seen finishing up by buttoning his shirt before turning his attention to Shiquo in a particularly affectionate moment.

He gently placed his hands on her cheeks and rubbed his palms against them, leaving Shiquo smiling even more as the couple shared the sweet moment.

Did Shiquo find her late mum’s grave?

In a separate report, the businesswoman opened up about an emotional and ongoing struggle to locate her mother’s final resting place, revealing that she has been searching for the grave for several years without success.

Speaking on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, after visiting a cemetery she believes her mother was buried in 2011, Shiquo said the search has become a recurring experience, noting that she has made multiple attempts over time to identify the exact gravesite.

She explained that despite frequent visits to the burial grounds, including what she described as her sixth or seventh attempt, she has still not been able to locate the grave.

“We have been here at this cemetery searching for my mother’s grave, and this is not the first time. It is like the sixth or seventh time, because we always pass by this cemetery, but today we came inside to look properly,” she said.

During her latest visit, she and her companions walked through the cemetery once again in search of the site, but were unsuccessful.

“She was buried here in 2011, but we have not been able to find the grave,” she added.

Shiquo expressed emotional reflection during the visit, noting the difficulty of repeatedly returning without finding closure. She described the experience as deeply personal, highlighting the emotional weight attached to not being able to identify her mother’s resting place after so many years.

While at the cemetery, she also reflected on broader life themes, observing the contrast between the living world and those laid to rest. She noted that those buried there are free from life’s struggles, including illness, financial pressure, and daily stress, while the living continue to face ongoing challenges.

“When I was here, I reflected on life and how those who are buried here are at peace. They do not know anything about the cost of living, fuel prices, sickness, or stress,” she said.
