Award-winning singer Otile Brown has shared a personal message about protecting his peace, saying he is in a better place mentally and is determined not to let anything interfere with it.

In a statement posted on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the musician also addressed his fans about future music collaborations, making it clear that he will only support projects that have his full approval.

Singer says he is in a good place

Otile revealed that he is currently enjoying a positive season in his life and is focused on maintaining it.

He explained that he has become more intentional about the people and projects he associates with, adding that he is no longer willing to compromise his happiness.

“I’m really in a good space right now, and I won’t let anybody mess up my vibe,” he wrote.

The singer’s message reflected a renewed focus on his well-being, a subject he has spoken about openly in recent weeks.

Clarifies his position on collaborations

Alongside speaking about his peace of mind, Otile also addressed speculation that may arise whenever new songs featuring his name are released. He explained that fans should not expect him to promote every collaboration unless he has personally approved it.

According to the singer, any collaborative project that does not receive his endorsement should not be taken as an official release from him. “If you don’t see me posting a collaboration song, just know it didn’t get my approval,” he added.

His remarks follow recent revelations

Otile’s latest message comes only a short time after he opened up about one of the most challenging periods of his music career.

Although many people viewed him as one of Kenya’s most successful and streamed musicians, the singer revealed that he was privately going through emotional struggles that almost pushed him to quit music.

Speaking about that difficult period, Otile admitted he felt lost despite his success. “I was lost, I was fighting demons, that’s mostly what I can say. It was a test that made me feel like I was being born again,” he said.

He explained that life in the music industry is often different from what many people see on the outside, noting that success does not always mean someone is at peace.

Peace now comes first

Looking back at his journey, Otile said he has learnt that protecting his mental well-being is more important than fame or the pressures that come with being a public figure.

He acknowledged that music remains his passion, but said he no longer wants to pursue success at the expense of his peace of mind. “For me, the pressure when I look inside and out, I say it’s not worth my peace of mind. So the reason why I’m doing it is that I love it,” he previously said.

His latest message reinforces that outlook, showing that he is determined to protect both his personal happiness and his artistic direction as he continues with his music career.
