Kenyan content creator and nurse Judy has given her followers a glimpse into her family trip to Japan, sharing moments from their first day in Tokyo.
Judy documented the experience through a photo dump shared on Instagram on September 30, 2026, capturing some of the places she visited with her family while enjoying time away from her usual routine.
Exploring Tokyo with family
According to Judy, their first day included visits to several well-known attractions, beginning with the Sesonji Temple in Asakusa.
The family also visited Meiji Jingu Shrine and the Imperial Palace East Garden, giving them an opportunity to experience some of Tokyo’s cultural and historical sites.
Judy also revealed that the group had a Japan matcha experience, adding a taste of the country’s popular tea culture to their itinerary.
The moments shared in her photo dump showed Judy embracing the opportunity to explore Tokyo while spending quality time with her family.
Memorable moments
While the day had several highlights, Judy also admitted that their plans did not go entirely as expected.
She revealed that they missed their Tokyo Bay cruise and a visit to Tokyo Skytree after getting separated from their group and guide.
“We missed our Tokyo Bay cruise and Tokyo sky tree, Tulipoteanwa na Group yetu and the guide!” she wrote, humorously expressing her frustration over the missed activities.
Despite the setback, Judy appeared to take the mishap in stride, choosing to focus on the experiences they managed to enjoy during the first day of their trip.

Judy described the collection of moments as her “Japan day 1 dump,” giving followers a glimpse into the beginning of what appears to be a family getaway filled with sightseeing and new experiences.
