Ningemteremsha na ngoto: Lydia Wanjiru weighs in on Arrow Bwoy and Nadia’s event drama

Content creator Lydia Wanjiru has weighed in on Arrow Bwoy’s surprise appearance during Nadia Mukami’s 10 Years of Nadia celebration.

Lydia said she dislikes situations where a man takes attention away from a woman during an important moment. Her remarks came after Arrow Bwoy showed up at the event despite the two no longer being together.

Lydia said women should be allowed to enjoy special moments without having to deal with situations that may shift attention away from them. She also suggested that the appearance may have been planned, pointing to the matching outfits worn during the event.

However, she acknowledged that Nadia may have felt unable to react freely because her child was also involved.

“I hate it when a man takes away a woman’s moment. Like boy, you have other 364 days to manipulate your way back, let her have her one day for f sake!” Lydia Wanjiru said on Monday, August 3, 2026.

Lydia also spoke about the role children can play when former partners meet in public. She said women may sometimes tolerate situations because they want to protect their children and how they view their fathers. Her comments focused on how such situations can affect a woman during an important personal event.

Lydia questions the surprise appearance

Lydia said the matching outfits made her wonder whether Arrow Bwoy’s appearance had been planned. She also pointed out that Nadia appeared uncomfortable during the moment, while noting that Arrow Bwoy came to the stage with their child. Lydia said this could make it harder for a mother to respond in the way she might want.

“And probably the appearance was planned because of the matching outfits. But also, she looked so uncomfortable and couldn’t do anything coz again, the boy made sure to come to the stage with the kid,” Lydia Wanjiru said.

She further explained her view of how women may handle such situations when their children are involved. Lydia said mothers can choose to tolerate certain things because of the way they want their children to see their fathers. She added that her own reaction would have been different.

“And as always, women are always protecting their babies, how they perceive their fathers, by tolerating. Lakini kama ni mimi, ningemteremsha na ngoto za mic,” Lydia Wanjiru said.

Nadia had earlier addressed claims that Arrow Bwoy’s appearance was planned as a publicity stunt. She said neither of them had planned for him to attend and that his appearance, including his outfit, caught her by surprise. Nadia laughed off the speculation surrounding the reunion.
