Musician Nadia Mukami became emotional while opening up about her breakup with fellow musician Arrow Bwoy, revealing that the separation was one of the most painful moments in her life.

Nadia, who spoke during an interview on Thursday, July 16, 2026, said she had always wanted a family and gave her relationship with Arrow Bwoy her best effort because she believed in building a stable home.

The singer said she tried her best to make the relationship work, adding that having a settled family made it easier for her to focus on her career and other goals.

“I really tried because I really wanted family,” Nadia said while fighting back tears.

Family dreams shattered

Nadia said the breakup was difficult because it happened after she had invested deeply in the relationship and hoped they would build a future together.

She explained that she had already closed the chapter on looking for another relationship and was now focused on building her career and securing a better future for her children.

The singer admitted that she is not perfect and may have contributed to challenges in the relationship, but maintained that she gave it her all.

“It was a heartbreak, and it happened being in the limelight,” Nadia said.

She added that she loved Arrow Bwoy because love requires people to give each other their time and commitment.

Children affected most

Nadia revealed that the biggest pain from the breakup was not about herself but the impact it could have on their children.

She said answering questions from her son Kai has been one of the hardest parts, adding that she continues to put her children first despite the challenges.

“The biggest heartbreak is not even about me. It’s because of my kids,” she said.

Nadia added that she chooses to take the difficult moments because she wants to protect her children and allow them to understand the situation as they grow older.

She said co-parenting remains important and that both parents have a responsibility to ensure their children feel loved and supported.

Building new future

Despite the heartbreak, Nadia said she is now focused on working hard, making money and creating a better life for her children.

She revealed that her dream has always been to build an empire that would allow her children to enjoy a comfortable future, including owning homes and other assets.

The singer acknowledged that life sometimes brings unexpected challenges but said she remains focused on moving forward.

Her emotional revelation comes after Arrow Bwoy also addressed their separation, saying he still believes there is hope and that their relationship remains special because of the family they share.
