Mosiria elated after meeting music star Nikita Kering on plane

He shared the moment while speaking about the importance of supporting local musicians on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Mosiria said the meeting happened while he was on a plane, where he came across Kering. He appeared excited by the encounter and used the opportunity to recognise the singer’s contribution to Kenyan music.
“Do you know this Kenyan superstar? One of the leading female artists in Kenya, her name is Nikita Kering. I met her on my way on the plane,” Mosiria said.
The encounter came as Mosiria continued documenting his international travels on social media. He has been sharing moments from his journey, giving his followers a glimpse into some of the experiences he has had outside Kenya.
Mosiria also used the meeting to call for continued government support for Kenyan musicians. He said artists play an important role in representing the country and showcasing Kenyan talent beyond its borders.
“I call upon the government to continue supporting Kenyan musicians as they represent our country and showcase our talent on the international stage,” Mosiria said.
Mosiria’s international travels
Mosiria has been documenting different parts of his international travels, sharing moments from his trips on social media. Before his Germany experience, he was in Dubai, where he visited a luxury watch shop and reacted to the price of a Rolex costing about US$44,000, which is more than Ksh5 million.
His travels have given his followers a glimpse into his experiences outside Kenya, with his Germany trip also taking an unexpected turn. Mosiria found himself trying to work out the local train and metro network during the journey.
Germany has an extensive public transport system, with trains, underground services and other connections operating across its cities. For a visitor unfamiliar with the routes, stations and signs, navigating underground stations can be confusing, particularly when travelling to an unfamiliar hotel.
Despite sharing different moments from his travels, Mosiria’s meeting with Kering allowed him to recognise the work of a Kenyan musician. Mosiria said the government should continue supporting musicians as they represent the country through their work.
