Miss Trudy thanks Wode Maya for never giving up on fatherhood after years of miscarriages
Content creator Miss Trudy has shared an emotional tribute to her husband, Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya, reflecting on a long and painful journey marked by miscarriages before the couple finally welcomed their baby.
In a Father’s Day message on Sunday, June 21, 2026, she opened up about the private struggles they endured over the years, describing a season filled with loss, waiting, and unanswered questions that tested their strength as a couple.
Miss Trudy revealed that the road to parenthood was not easy, noting that they went through repeated miscarriages that left them emotionally drained.
She said the experience came with silent battles that the public rarely saw, even as fans continued to follow their lives online with curiosity and expectations.
At times, she added, the pressure and constant questions about children made the journey even harder to bear.
Emotional reflection
Sharing a deeply personal memory, Miss Trudy recalled how Father’s Day once carried emotional weight for Wode Maya during their struggle.
“You were always looking for where to hide on Father’s Day because we were trying for a baby for so many years and having miscarriages, yet people out here were always asking ‘When will you be a father?!’” she wrote.

She also remembered a moment when someone wished him a happy Father’s Day, which left him deeply affected.
“Last year, I remember you said someone wished you a happy Father’s Day, and you felt so sad because no one understands what men who want to be fathers in vain go through,” she added.
A story of persistence
Despite the setbacks, Miss Trudy praised Wode Maya for remaining hopeful and committed to their shared dream of becoming parents.
She described him as patient and resilient, saying he never gave up even when the journey became overwhelming.
That persistence, she noted, is what carried them through one of the most difficult periods of their relationship.

The couple welcomed their baby in February 2026, a moment Miss Trudy now reflects on as the turning point after years of heartbreak.
“This day you become a Father, and it changed everything!” she wrote, looking back on the emotional shift that followed their child’s arrival.
She referred to their baby as a “rainbow baby,” symbolising hope after loss and healing after years of miscarriages.
Miss Trudy ended her message with gratitude and admiration for Wode Maya’s perseverance.
“Thank you for not giving up on the dream of becoming a dad despite waiting for many years and us having many miscarriages. You are the perfect example of Never give up! We are so proud of you @mrghanababy,” she wrote.
