Digital content creator Judith, widely known as Mama Jimmy, has opened up about how she first met her husband, Isaiah Keria, alias Baba Jimmy, revealing that they were both just 15 years old when their journey together began.
In a candid post shared on her social media accounts on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Mama Jimmy recalled that her husband used to visit her home when they were teenagers and the two would spend time playing together like other children their age.
“Baba Jimmy alikuwa anakuja kwetu, tunacheza pamoja kama watoto. Tulikuwa na miaka 15 tu,” Mama Jimmy shared.
She went on to reveal that everything changed when she realised Baba Jimmy had feelings for her.
Overwhelmed by shyness, she said she could hardly look him in the face whenever they met.
“Lakini nilipoanza kujua kwamba ananipenda, hata kumtazama usoni nilikuwa siwezi kwa sababu nilikuwa naona aibu sana!” she added.
Looking back, Mama Jimmy said she never imagined that the shy teenage boy who visited her home would one day become her husband.
Reflecting on their love story, she described it as proof that life unfolds in unexpected ways and that God’s plans often surpass human expectations.
“Kumbe ndiye angekuwa mume wangu. Mungu ana mipango ya ajabu!” Mama Jimmy said.
Romantic dating song
This comes weeks after she revealed the romantic song she played every night while dating Baba Jimmy.
In a TikTok post on Friday, July 17, 2026, Mama Jimmy reminisced about their dating days, explaining that the romantic song Uvumilivu by Tanzanian artistes Keisha and Squezer became the soundtrack of their relationship long before they exchanged vows.
According to the content creator, the song brought her comfort whenever she and Baba Jimmy were apart, especially during moments when they could only communicate over the phone.
“I used to play this song when I was dating Baba Jimmy, before we were married. Every night before going to bed, when I missed him, I would listen to it,” she wrote.
“Sometimes we could only talk on the phone, and this song reminded me of him,” she recalled.
She further disclosed that the song still holds a special place in her heart because it captures some of the most memorable moments from the early days of their relationship.
“This song carries so many memories of our love story,” Mama Jimmy said.
