Lillian Ng’ang’a explains why she was already well-travelled before meeting husband
Social media personality Lillian Nganga has explained why she described herself as already “well-travelled” before meeting her husband.
In a post on Instagram on Friday, June 26, 2026, she shared that her love for travelling started during her childhood through her father before later growing through her work with Kenya Airways.
“I was exposed to travel as a child through my Dad. Lucky cards :),” Lillian Nganga said.
She explained that her childhood experiences gave her the chance to travel early in life. She added that the opportunities continued when she joined Kenya Airways, where she travelled to many places because of her work.

“I then travelled extensively for work with KQ,” she explained.
Lillian said those experiences shaped the person she became long before she met her partner. According to her, her husband did not introduce her to that lifestyle but instead became part of the life she had already built for herself.
“The partner found an already well-travelled and refined girl, and complemented it,” Lillian said.
Lessons from her journey
Lillian went on to explain that her experiences are the reason she often speaks about life as a blessing. She said everything she went through helped shape her journey and the person she is today.
“That is what I mean by life – and that’s why it is a prayer,” she said.

She ended her message by encouraging people to remain focused on their own journey.
“Stay guided :),” Lillian added.
Lillian also shared a message directed at young girls. She said she hopes they get opportunities to travel while they are still young instead of depending on older men for such experiences.
“My prayer for young girls: May life (not Wababas) accord you travel when you are young, so you don’t get excited and impressed by nonsense,” Lillian said.
She explained that exposure can help people make better decisions as they grow. According to her, seeing different places and having new experiences can change how people look at life.
“Exposure will save you from a lot of BS. The END,” she said.
Through her remarks, Lillian made it clear that she values the experiences she had before marriage. She credited her father for introducing her to travel at a young age and said her work with Kenya Airways gave her even more opportunities to explore the world before meeting her husband.
