Kiredio credits IShowSpeed after Tanzania’s first IRL livestream reaches 100K views
By Steve Ireri, July 9, 2026Tanzanian content creator Vicent Pendael Njau, popularly known as Kiredio, has revealed that American streaming superstar IShowSpeed inspired the production of his historic In Real Life (IRL) livestream after the broadcast amassed more than 100,000 views within its first day.
Sharing an update after the milestone on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Kiredio celebrated the overwhelming reception his debut IRL livestream had received, saying he was amazed by the quality of the production after rewatching the broadcast.
According to the digital creator, the livestream surpassed 100,000 views in just one day, a milestone he described as a major achievement for his new venture into IRL streaming.
“Oooh God 🙌 100K Views Ndani Ya Siku Moja Nimeangalia Hii Live Yangu Nkaja Kugundua Production Walifanya Kitu Kikubwa Sanaaa🙌 Hapo Kuna Mapande Fulani Hivi Ya Drone Yamechanganywa, KAMA MBELE🙌,” he wrote.
Reflecting on the production, Kiredio singled out the drone footage used throughout the livestream, saying it elevated the broadcast to what he described as an international standard.
He disclosed that the idea came after watching IShowSpeed’s livestreams, where aerial drone shots are often incorporated to give viewers a cinematic experience.
Kiredio explained that after seeing the technique used by the American streaming sensation, he became determined to replicate the same level of production quality in his own debut livestream, insisting that he wanted drone shots regardless of the cost involved.

The creator expressed satisfaction after seeing the final result, saying the production team had successfully delivered the vision he had imagined.
He went on to thank Phephe FX and the entire production crew for executing what he described as a massive project, praising their efforts in helping him achieve an international-quality broadcast.
Kiredio also used the opportunity to confidently declare himself a streamer, urging people to recognise his new direction in content creation following the successful debut.

Besides celebrating the livestream’s performance, the content creator also gave a shout-out to Tanzanian singer Ibraah, describing his latest song as the “song of the year.”

Before the broadcast, Kiredio had announced that he would be going live simultaneously on YouTube and TikTok, inviting his followers to tune in as he embarked on a new chapter in his content creation journey.
IRL, short for In Real Life, allows creators to livestream themselves as they move through real-world environments, interact with members of the public, attend events and document everyday experiences without relying on heavily edited videos.
The format has experienced explosive growth over the past few years, with creators building massive audiences by giving viewers an unfiltered, real-time look into their daily lives.
One of the biggest figures responsible for popularising IRL livestreaming globally is IShowSpeed, whose energetic broadcasts have attracted millions of viewers across multiple platforms.
His influence became even more evident in Africa earlier this year during his widely followed “Speed Does Africa” tour, where he livestreamed his travels across 20 African countries, showcasing local cultures, food, music, tourism attractions and interactions with fans in real time.
