‘I love you, always’: Brian Kabugi shares heartfelt tribute after laying mother to rest

Actor Brian Kabugi, popularly known as Bugi, has paid a touching tribute to his late mother after laying her to rest, reflecting on the painful journey of grief while expressing hope that he will eventually find the strength to move forward.

In an emotional Instagram message shared on Saturday, June 4, 2026, after the burial, the former Machachari actor admitted that life without his mother would be difficult but said he was comforted by the love and support of his family, friends and community.

“My mother may no longer be with me, but I still have my brothers, my family both from birth and the chosen, my community, my craft, my art, and myself,” he wrote.

He concluded his tribute with the heartfelt words: “Rest well, Mum. I love you, always.”
