Grace Msalame shares how 5-year-old son prayed for neighbour with partial paralysis and recovered

Media personality Grace Msalame has shared an emotional account of how her five-year-old son prayed for their neighbour who had developed partial paralysis following an accident and was undergoing physical therapy.
Grace said she had been away for a week and was unable to communicate when her neighbour tried to reach her.
When she returned home, her son ran to her and told her that he had prayed for their neighbour.
“I was away for a week, and on my way coming home, my neighbour called me, but I was unavailable in terms of communication. When I got home, my son ran to me, and he told me he prayed for our neighbour,” Grace shared.
Curious about what had happened, Grace said she called her neighbour back.
“So I took my phone and called back my neighbour, and he said, ‘I was just calling to say thank you to your son,’ and I was like, ‘What do you mean? What happened?'” she said.
While sharing the testimony, she disclosed that her neighbour had been involved in an accident that left him partially paralysed, affecting his ability to walk without assistance.
“An unfortunate accident happened to my neighbour, and he got semi-paralysed, so even walking he had to use a walker, and he has been going through physical therapy. So yesterday he had just come from physical therapy,” Grace revealed.
How her son prayed
The neighbour had just returned from a physical therapy session when an unexpected encounter with Msalame’s son happened.
Grace explained that her neighbour went to a barber within their compound to get a haircut. After leaving the barber, he encountered children playing in a large field nearby.
Her five-year-old son then approached him and offered to pray for him before returning to play, adding that he prayed for the neighbour before running back to join the other children.
“So when he came home, he went to a barber here in our compound to get a haircut, so there is a big field where the kids play right outside the barber. When he gets out of the barber into the field where the children are, my dear five-year-old son runs to him and asks him, ‘Can I pray for you?’ and my son prays and then runs off to go back and play,” she explained.
The following morning, Msalame said her neighbour sent her a picture showing a significant improvement in his condition.
“And this morning he sent me a picture that he has given of his wheelchair that he does not need it anymore,” she added.
The experience left Grace reflecting on the simplicity and faith of her young son, who offered the prayer without knowing the extent of the impact it would have on their neighbour.
The neighbour had been relying on a walker and undergoing physical therapy following the accident before the encounter with the five-year-old.
