President William Ruto’s son George has shared a new video showing him enjoying a beach getaway, even as he continues to trend online following his recent Westlands meetup with popular educator teacher Cillah.

In the video shared on Sunday, August 30, 2026, George, who was clad in a red shirt, shorts and a safari hat, is seen walking at the very edge of the beach where the gentle waves were forming a long, foamy line along the shoreline.

He continued strolling leisurely as his footsteps were imprinted across the seemingly pristine stretch of sand, with the tranquil surroundings adding to the relaxed atmosphere captured during his seaside escape.

Boats could be seen at the far end of the footage, appearing tiny against the expansive ocean as the vast body of water stretched into the horizon, while George appeared completely at ease as he savoured the quiet moments of his getaway.

He shared the footage accompanied by the emotional Waves and Waves song by Ahmed Spins, adding a reflective soundtrack to the picturesque seaside moments and leaving his followers keenly following his latest escapade.

Westlands meetup

The first son met Teacher Cillah for the first time physically on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, when he made a special visit to Westlands Primary School, where the popular educator works.

The highly anticipated encounter came after weeks of online interactions between the two, with Cillah repeatedly expressing her interest in meeting and working with George, a development that attracted considerable attention from social media users and kept their exchanges at the centre of online conversations.

During the visit, George first toured Cillah’s classroom, where he interacted with the pupils and took time to speak to them as the educator showed him around and offered him a glimpse into her daily work with the learners.

The interaction later moved to the school field, where a special entertainment session had been organised for the pupils.

The learners were treated to music, dancing and talent performances, with popular city nganyas Mood and Moneyfest also making an appearance and adding another layer of excitement to the colourful afternoon.

George and Cillah later joined the pupils in a lively dance session after the event’s MC invited them to the front. The two did not hold back, showcasing their dance moves as the excited learners erupted into cheers, applause and screams.

George, who was dressed in a suit during the visit, was later seen mingling with the pupils and taking selfies with them, while Cillah remained close by as the celebrations continued.

The meetup also followed George’s earlier commitment to support Cillah, who had become increasingly popular online through her humorous interactions and public expressions of interest in working with the President’s son.
