Carey Priscilla recalls difficult beginnings after visiting humble rental she once lived in
Beautician and content creator Carey Priscilla has taken fans down memory lane by giving them a rare tour of the modest rental house where she once lived before finding success as an entrepreneur and influencer.
In an emotional video shared on TikTok on Friday, July 3, 2026, Carey walked through the ramshackle home estate, reflecting on the difficult journey that shaped her into the woman she is today.
Pointing to the humble house, the beauty entrepreneur revealed that it was where she lived several years ago before her fortunes changed.
“This is where I used to live a few years ago. But God has been so gracious. Today I am building an empire I once dreamt about,” she said.
Carey used the moment to encourage anyone struggling to keep believing in their dreams, insisting that difficult beginnings should never determine a person’s future.
“So please don’t give up on that dream. Wake up and try again. God is with you and your breakthrough is closer than you think,” she told her followers.
The content creator admitted that many people reach a point where they feel exhausted, discouraged or convinced that success will never come, but urged them to keep pressing on.
“This is your sign not to give up! If you’re tired of trying, discouraged, or you’ve convinced yourself that this is how your story ends, don’t quit. God is still writing your story. Even when you can’t see Him working, He is,” she wrote.

Carey further encouraged her fans to remain prayerful and hopeful, saying persistence often pays off when people least expect it.
“Keep praying and believing. Please don’t give up. Your breakthrough is closer than you think,” she added.
To reinforce her message, the beautician quoted 2 Corinthians 4:9, which urges believers to never bow to defeat.
“We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We often don’t know what to do, but we don’t give up. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed,” the verse reads.
