Brayo Biker explains reasons he always hides his face

Brayo Biker, whose real name is Brian, has explained why he always hides his face while appearing in public, with the online content creator saying his helmet gives him freedom and helps him keep his identity private.
Brayo said his decision to keep his face hidden has purposes. He explained that removing the helmet allows him to move around without people knowing who they are speaking to, giving him a level of privacy.
“A lot of freedom. Actually niko na purpose….Nikitoa helmet, niko DND, so naweza kuja hapa na hamtajua mlikua mnaongea na nani,” Brayo Biker said during an interview on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
The content creator said he has also linked his decision to road safety. He explained that he made a personal decision not to remove his helmet until every boda rider wears one, as he continues to push for road safety.
“Mimi nilisema sitatoa helmet hadi kila mtu wa boda wavae helmet. Najaribu kupush road safety as much as I can,” Brayo Biker said.
Brayo said his concern about road safety comes from what he sees on the roads. He explained that he witnesses many accidents, some of which he does not post, and said some of the accidents are very serious.
“Mimi huona accidents mingi hata zingine huwa sipost. Zingine hukua very fatal. Unfortunately ni kitu inafaa tuwafunze kabisa,” Brayo Biker said.
Brayo on his helmet mission
Brayo said injuries from road accidents can have serious effects and that wearing a helmet is a basic safety measure. He explained that even a simple fall can result in a person hitting their head, making protective gear important.
“Injury moja inaweza ku….afadhali ni sweat. Mimi husema basic ni helmet, because ukifinya breaks, unaweza anguka na kichwa,” Brayo Biker said.
His commitment to keeping his identity hidden has also extended beyond his face. During an interview, the interviewer noted that he had taken his anonymity seriously, adding that he did not even want his hands to be seen.
“You have taken this anonymity so seriously, hata mkono zako hutaki tuone,” the interviewer said.
Brayo confirmed that he takes the anonymity seriously but clarified that he does remove his gloves. He also revealed that his real name is Brian, giving more information about the person behind the helmet.
“Yes. But gloves mimi hutoa. By the way jina ya ID ni Brian,” Brayo Biker said.
