Baba Talisha reveals what his Dubai trip with daughter means

Photographer and digital content creator Faustine Lipuku, widely known as Baba Talisha, has opened up about a special milestone in his life after travelling to Dubai with his daughter, describing the trip as a dream he had held onto for years.
The content creator shared the emotional message on his Instagram page on Thursday, August 13, 2026, revealing that taking his daughter on her first international holiday was a moment he had prayed and waited for.
According to Baba Talisha, the trip represents more than a family getaway. It is a reminder of the journey he has taken as a father and the importance of remaining hopeful even when life becomes difficult.
“I have waited, prayed and dreamed about a day like this, the day I would hold my little girl Talisha’s hand and take her on her first international adventure. And finally, that day is here,” Baba Talisha wrote.
Long-awaited milestone
Over the years, he has openly shared different moments from his parenting journey, allowing his followers to witness his close relationship with his daughter.
His latest post reflected on the challenges he has faced and the lessons he has learned along the way. “The journey to this moment has taught me so much about love, resilience, patience and keeping the faith even when life takes unexpected turns,” he said.
He added that there were moments when the trip seemed impossible. “There were days when this felt like just a distant dream, but today I get to look at my beautiful family and say, ‘We made it,’” he wrote.
Dubai adventure begins
The family is expected to spend time in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, two of the most popular destinations in the United Arab Emirates. However, Baba Talisha explained that what excites him most is not the destination itself, but the opportunity to experience those places through his daughter’s eyes.
“Dubai, here we come,” he wrote.
He also spoke about the experiences he hopes to share with Talisha during the trip, including exploring new places, laughing together and creating memories as a family.
“I honestly can’t wait to experience Dubai and Abu Dhabi with my loves, to see Talisha’s excitement, watch her discover a whole new world, laugh together, explore together and create memories that we will carry in our hearts forever,” Baba Talisha said.
More than just a holiday
Beyond the excitement of travelling, he said the journey symbolises growth, perseverance and the beginning of another chapter.
He described the experience as proof that difficult seasons eventually come to an end and that dreams can still become reality. “For me, this is more than just an international trip. It is a reminder that after every season comes another one, dreams can still come true, and love gives us the strength to keep moving forward,” he said.
He ended the heartfelt message with a note directed to his daughter. “My heart is full. My little girl is growing. And a dream I held onto for so long is finally becoming a reality. Talisha, Daddy has waited for this moment. Now let’s go see the world together, my love,” Baba Talisha wrote.
