Baba Talisha issues update after daughter is hospitalised in worrying condition

TikToker Faustine Lipuku, popularly known as Baba Talisha, has shared an emotional update after his daughter, Talisha, was admitted to hospital following a worrying health condition.
Speaking in a TikTok live on Saturday, June 13, 2026, Baba Talisha revealed that his daughter was diagnosed with a blood infection after being rushed to hospital, explaining that medical tests showed abnormal results that led to her admission for further treatment and monitoring.
He noted that doctors identified irregular levels in her blood-related tests, including readings that were significantly out of the normal range. He said some of the values, which are usually expected to remain within a specific range, were found to be elevated, prompting concern from medical staff.
“For those asking what happened to my daughter, Talisha, she has a blood infection. Yesterday, when she was taken to the hospital, she was diagnosed with that, and her test results were out of range,” he said.

According to him, Talisha’s condition required immediate admission after the tests indicated complications linked to a blood infection. He added that the situation was taken seriously due to the abnormal results observed during screening.
“For example, her blood sugar, which is supposed to be within a certain range, was found to be above 10, 15, or even 20. There are other tests where her normal range is around 5, but yesterday they were around 15. That is why she was admitted,” he added.
Baba Talisha also addressed members of the public who had been asking about his daughter’s condition, confirming that she is currently under hospital care and receiving attention from medical professionals.
He indicated that visitors are welcome to check on the child, but only under controlled conditions, adding that arrangements have been made for those who wish to visit. He also noted that visitors may bring fruits, as allowed by the hospital, while emphasising that no medication or unauthorised items should be brought.
“Yeah, Hanna Benta, if you want to come to the hospital to see Talisha, you can come. I will give you a private number you can call me on. You may also bring fruits and such because the hospital allows it, but nothing else apart from drugs,” he added.
