Bishop Kiengei elated as Pastor Kanyari honours invitation to worship at JCM

Jesus Compassion Ministries head preacher Bishop Ben Kiengei has expressed delight after Salvation Healing Ministries founder Prophet Victor Kanyari honoured an invitation to worship at his Ruiru-based church.
In a Facebook livestream by JCM Church on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Kanyari, who had first attended a service at his Njiru-based church, is seen arriving at JCM in a convoy of high-end vehicles and proceeding to greet church ushers who were waiting for him at the entrance.
After moving inside, church members began cheering, and Bishop Ben welcomed him warmly and urged him to take a seat in the front row.

The livestream shows Bishop Ben embracing Kanyari enthusiastically as the worship team continued leading the service.
The event is also expected to feature a stream of other prominent ministers of the gospel and artistes, as it is a special Thanksgiving Sunday for Bishop Ben and his wife, Reverend Joy Benson.
At the time of this reporting, members from five branches of JCM had already arrived, and the MC noted that additional groups were also expected to join.

Pastor Kanyari, who continues to be a focal point of public discussion due to circulating social media stories about his children’s custody, confirmed in a Facebook post on Saturday, December 6, 2025, that he would honour the invitation.
At the time, Kanyari stated that he would arrive precisely at 11 am and heaped praise on Bishop Ben, referring to him with the title His Eminence.
Kanyari also encouraged his followers to gather at the church to join him.
“Tomorrow, let’s meet at Salvation Healing Ministry, and later, at around 11 am, I will join His Eminence Bishop Ben Gathungu at JCM, the Home of Compassion and Love, for a church service. See you there,” he wrote.
Gifted daughter
The development comes just days after Bishop Ben praised Kanyari’s daughter, Sky, for her entrepreneurial spirit, noting how she has turned social media into a source of income at just 13 years old.
Speaking during a youth seminar in Laikipia County on Saturday, November 29, 2025, the bishop highlighted the potential of digital platforms for young people to earn money and build sustainable careers.
He explained that he was inspired by the way the young girl uses digital platforms, like TikTok, to share videos and monetise her creativity.
“Imagine, a young girl like Betty Bayo’s daughter is already earning money. She is just 13 years old. She sets up a camera, dances, and shares her videos with her followers. Even I, as an adult, follow her content because it is impressive and inspiring,” he said.
