Allans Ademba releases star-studded lineup ahead of highly anticipated Niko Kadi drive
Journalist Allans Ademba has released a star-studded lineup with more celebrities joining the Niko Kadi initiative ahead of its highly anticipated drive on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Launched by Kenyan youth to mobilise more Kenyans to register as voters and make their voices count in the 2027 elections, Niko Kadi has taken the country by storm, with long queues reported at Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) offices where the registration of voters is ongoing.
Tuesday, March 24, 2026, will be an important day, with organisers labelling it as a holiday when Kenyans will turn up in large numbers to register as voters.

“Tuesday is a national holiday for #TukoKadi. TUKO KADI SIO GIG Walk with your ID/Passport. Make sure you pick the exact location that you will be at during the elections. THIS WEEK WAS THE PILOT, NEXT WEEK NI MBAYA,” the journalist stated on Friday, March 20, 2026.
Star-studded lineup
Ahead of the day, Ademba has released a star-studded lineup of celebrities who will be at different IEBC offices to support the drive.
Rapper Henry Ohanga, popularly known as Octopizzo, will join the team in Kibra with comedian Eric Omondi showing up in all five constituencies in Embakasi (Embakasi East, South, Central, South and North constituencies).
Actor Brian Kabugi will be in Lang’ata for the drive, with content creator Nicky Big Fish joining the team in Kibra.
The list also shows that Kenyan musician Fidel Shammah, popularly known as Charisma, who recently backed the Niko Kadi drive, will be in Kibra for the exercise, with Willie Oeba confirmed for Embakasi East.
Celebrities missing in action urged to back Niko Kadi
Earlier in the day, Ademba put out a statement urging celebrities to use their influence for a worthy cause amid concerns that some are hiding behind their brands, choosing not to speak when it matters most and shunning compelling national conversations that affect ordinary Kenyans who are behind their success.
“I’m inviting celebrities and Influencers to join us next week in the #TukoKadi campaign,” Ademba said.

In response to his appeal, several celebrities have warmed up to the initiative.
Focus now shifts to those who have been silent all through, with netizens tagging them aggressively in response to Ademba’s request.
