4 Kenyans shortlisted for MrBeast games show with Ksh645M prize

Four Kenyans have earned a spot on the shortlist for the global MrBeast Games, a massive reality competition where one contestant from each country will battle for a life-changing cash prize of $5 million (about Ksh 645 million).
The shortlisted Kenyans, Jovette, Cecilia, Yviona and Franklin, now join a worldwide pool of contestants vying for public votes that will determine who officially represents each country in the high-stakes challenge.
The announcement was made on Saturday, April 25, 2026, by American YouTuber and philanthropist MrBeast through his X account, where he revealed how the competition would work and opened voting to the public.

“You can decide who wins $5,000,000! For Beast Games Season 3, we’re casting one person from each country in the world, and you can vote for your favourite to represent your country,” he posted, directing users to beastgames.com/vote.
How the game works
Beast Games Season 3 is a global expansion of MrBeast’s high-stakes reality show on YouTube and Amazon Prime Video. Previous seasons featured hundreds of contestants placed in “Beast City” for weeks of extreme physical and mental challenges.
Contestants face intense tests of strength, strategy, intelligence, endurance, and willpower ranging from massive obstacle courses and survival-style games to complex puzzles and high-pressure eliminations.
Twists, bribes, and unpredictable moments are part of the format, with the last person standing walking away with life-changing money.

Season 3 takes the concept to a global level. Instead of thousands of direct applicants, fans across the world are now voting for their country’s champion.
Each nation will send one representative, selected through public voting, to compete on the biggest stage MrBeast has ever built.
The chosen contestant will carry their country’s hopes into the global arena of challenges and eliminations.
For Kenya, the inclusion of four shortlisted contestants has sparked excitement, with fans now rallying behind their preferred representatives ahead of voting.
